During my time at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago I became a leader in the Students for Juctice for Palestine group on Campus.
We produced a monthly event series “Conversations” in which we curated a panel of speakers to discuss an issue that we wanted to call attention to on campus. Topics included The Balfour Declaration, Boycott, Divestment, & Sanctions, the Syrian refugee crisis, and censorship around Palestine. Additionally, we curated music, poetry, performance, food, and art for each specific topic.
